Encountering God in the Sacrament of Life
God’s ingenuity and initiation open the way to sacred encounters through every unique path imaginable. As we open ourselves to this reality, we quickly realize with Saint Augustine that “If one has the eye for it, all creation is a sacrament.” Sacrament as used here is a sign or symbol of a spiritual reality. This morning we’ll take time to notice the unique encounters with God we have experienced through relationships, nature, music, art, celebrations, joys and sorrows, sacred readings and prayers to name just a few. Optional opportunities for sharing will be woven throughout our time.
